As we enter 2011, I am compelled to take a brief look back at 2010.
This past year has, without a doubt, been the most successful yet for RT Photography.
I moved into a new studio right in the Village of Owego just one year ago, and have seen a remarkable increase of portrait sessions in comparison to prior years, as a result.
I want to thank all of my clients, models, and others who have helped contribute to this level of success.
My goal this year is to continue this growth. In fact, I am aiming for a 4-fold increase in business this year. With your help, we can make this happen!
To all of my past, present and future clients, models, and others, I wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous year in 2011!
Here are a few pinup portraits I created with Vanessa Davis on 12/16/10 at the studio. I applied a color muting technique in post processing to give it a vintage look.

Honey! I'm making you cupcakes after your hard day at work!

The cupcakes are going into the oven soon.

Oh no! I got my apron caught in the oven door!
Here’s a potpourri of a few of my favorite models, Michelle, Krista and Vanessa in November 2010.

Here are a few pics from a recent Painting-with-Light portrait session – Halloween style
NOTE: The unique technique used to produce each of these Painting-with-Light portraits requires exposure times on the order of 2 minutes. Sharpness in the subjects’ features is maintained by the skillful application of swaths of colorful light in specific areas to produce interesting patterns, at speeds sufficient to freeze any movement, yet slow enough to render a proper exposure. The studio is totally dark. Light is manually and selectively applied in narrow strokes from custom-built Light-Brushes.
